Must Listen Music

I'll be reviewing select particular albums which I think everyone should listen to atleast once in their lifetime. I've grown up listening to these albums, and they're the best one's out there according to me, and some are newer ones that I really like. So here it goes, the first real topic on my blog.

Genre: Grunge/Alternative Rock

Year is 1991, the masterpiece from the Seattle grunge trio is released, and within a week it throws off Michael Jackson's US Billboard number 1 album Dangerous off the charts, becoming the new number 1.

Grunge, subgenre of Alternative Rock, relatively newer to the mainstream audience, shot off like a rage, everywhere, from mtv, to rock radio, to cassette players and car stereos.

With singles like Smells Like Teen Spirit, Lithium, Come As You Are and In Bloom, the album went on to become one of the biggest selling albums of all time, and was majorly responsible for bringing the whole Seattle Grunge Movement to the mainstream audience all over the world.

Nevermind has some of the best music videos ever shot, which even today recieve heavy airplay on music channels all over the world.

This album is a definitely a must listen atleast once in your lifetime, grab a copy now.
